The Haunted Fanta Factory

Fanta wanted to own Halloween with a bang (and ideally a few screams).
The brief: Bring the Fanta x Universal Monsters universe into the real world with an immersive experience that Gen Z would queue for, talk about, and share all over social media.
Strategy & Insight

Gen Z aren’t turning up for a basic “boo!” anymore. They want immersive, cinematic chaos; experiences they can both star in and share.

We devised the Haunted Fanta Factory, a jump-scare, escape-room style activation where Fanta’s deliciousness literally attracts horror icons back from the dead.

Whether students, thrill-seekers or London day-trippers, the experience had to feel like audiences were stepping into their own live-action scare movie, with Fanta as the ultimate prize for surviving.

The solution

A purpose-built, two-storey Haunted Fanta Factory in Covent Garden plunged guests into a five-act scare story, daring them to take on the “night shift” racing to fix the villains’ sabotage.

From a tense security-room intro with M3GAN to pipe-fixing chaos in the mixing room, hidden-key hunts on the bottling line, a full corridor chase with the Janitor and a final loading-bay puzzle, every moment was designed to jolt, surprise and reward.

A smaller, fast-fire version of the experience hit Thorpe Park and toured UK universities, delivering scares, puzzles and product sampling on the move.
