A Christmas toy experience

We’ve been helping Tesco showcase its Christmas toys and games, to show parents how easy and hassle-free shopping for the perfect toy can be.

The retailer has been checking its prices against competitors for hundreds of the UK’s most loved toys, and we’re helping them communicate to customers that they can get everything they need in one place for a great price – nifty eh?

To promote the retailer as home of the *most-loved* toys this Christmas, we’ve been in stores offering an experience for parents and children alike. We created a toy testing station in selected stores, offering children the chance to play with the latest toys with our toy demonstrators, whilst their parents learned more on the price of them, how to order in time for Christmas and use the lucrative 3 for 2 offer the retailer is offering, out of earshot.

For children, the enchantment of Christmas is exactly that; the magic of Father Christmas delivering presents late on Christmas Eve for them to enjoy on the big day. We wanted to maintain the excitement and experience for the children in Tesco stores by speaking to their parents separately whilst they were playing, so the magic behind the perfect gift could stay a secret.
