To support the launch of Ben & Jerry’s two tasty new flavours – Sofa So Good and Wholly Couch – we designed and implemented an activation in Tesco stores to get shoppers excited about having a Big Night In.
Research shows that 70% of ice cream is consumed while ‘chilling’ on the couch with TV or a movie, so we came up with a concept that played on this people-pleasing relaxation moment.
Dressed in Ben & Jerry’s cloud print outfits, brand ambassadors greeted shoppers and handed out free samples of the new flavours, then invited them to chill out in the Ben & Jerry’s pop-up living room!
A cow print sofa, artificial grass carpet and themed TV screen provided the perfect place for shoppers to kick back and relax.
What’s more, every shopper had the chance to win, using the Ben & Jerry’s remote control to pause the TV and reveal an instant prize: from tubs of Ben & Jerry’s to TV box sets and even TVs!
